  11. Parameter RAM - to reset the parameter RAM on the SE or Mac II - hold down the SHIFT, OPTION and COMMAND keys as you open the Control Panel.  
  12. (Control Panel 3.1 or higher.)  When asked if you want to zap (reset) the parameter RAM, select YES and then reset your Mac.  You will have to reset all your options but the clock.
